LLTB (Limburgse Land- Tuinbouwbond) is a regional Federation of Agriculture and Horticulture, an entrepreneurial and employers’ organisation in the Netherlands. Representing almost 3,500 agricultural entrepreneurs, the cooperative arrangement of LLTB works in support of their economic and social position. And successfully so: it is because of their vast contribution to the national economy, employment, landscape and environment that farmers and horticulturalists deliver unmistakable great value to Dutch agriculture and horticulture. CEO and Board member of € 70 million Dutch Farmers Association (with three subsidiary companies) that controls investment portfolios and real estate of more than € 55 million. Accountable for staff of 90 FTEs managed through 6 direct reports. Full P&L responsible with annual budget of € 10 million. Provided strategic and operational leadership to improve operating results. Revamped internal procedures and controls, reorganized/ reallocated staff and implemented best practices and performance monitoring systems in support of continuous improvement.
LLTB Ontwikkeling is the development and investment company of the Limburgse Land- en Tuinbouwbond. Headquarters of LLTB Ontwikkeling is in Roermond (Located in the Dutch province of Limburg). The investment activities are in line with the objectives of the LLTB. • Advisor to the Board of the Association LLTB Development; • Member of the management team of the Limburg Agricultural and Horticultural Association. Jointly responsible for the overall direction, strategy and management of the association and its subsidiaries (110 FTE); • Representative on behalf of the Association LLTB Development in General Meeting of Shareholders of various (inter) national participations; • Together with the board of the Association LLTB Development responsible for the connection between the primary sector, agribusiness, politics and society; • Responsible for the development, preparation and execution of short and long -term policy for the Association LLTB Development; • Manages the Association LLTB Development and its employees; • Responsible for the investment portfolios worth € 55 million; • Responsible for the consolidated annual financial statements, budgeting, reporting and analysis of the entire group. Brightlands Agrifood Fund focuses on agriculture (seed & grow) and food (harvest & formulate), and will invest in companies with product as well as in process-oriented innovations. Limited partners of the fund are Rabobank, Province of Limburg, NV LIOF, LLTB (Limburgse Land- en Tuinbouwbond), Van Herk Ventures and an undisclosed private individual active in modern greenhouse farming. The Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) has committed € 6 mln out of the so-called Seedcapitalregeling. The total fund size is € 20 mln.
Stichting Paterskerk de Biest is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to preserving, restoring, and managing the historic Paterskerk in Weert. The foundation maintains the building’s heritage value while making it usable for cultural, community, and event purposes. Board members serve on a voluntary basis, without compensation.
