I have built my team from ground up to become a well-focused team that consistently meets delivery dates and produces high quality products. • Current responsibilities include developing and managing new, profitable, and scalable hardware and software product lines, as well as reimagining mature business lines with resulting revenue and margin growth for NextGen Firewall Products. • Came up with the hardware concept of industry’s first 10Gbs NextGen Firewall and scaled it up to a Terabit. • Responsible for delivering all PANW systems ($2B+ per annum in revenues), including four generations of PA-7000, PA-5000, PA-4000, PA-3000, PA-800, PA-200 and WF series of products and many more on the way. • Responsible for delivering three generation of Network/Security processor ASIC in FE20, FE-100/101 and FE400 and a multitude of FPGA. • Involved in the post-merger integration of Cloudgenix and delivered the first generation of SDWAN/SASE products. • Came up with the concept of an inline Machine Learning based threat prevention device. • Additionally, responsible for identifying opportunities, emerging trends, performance gaps, and root causes to foster improvements; developing and driving product management strategies; product life cycle management.

Was the brainchild behind MX series Ethernet router, which had a $1B sales in the very first year of introduction. o Ethernet Switches: Elektra, o Line cards: 4 port GE, 8 port GE, 1 port XGE Ethernet Services Switch o I3.0, SF, IE chipset architecture and various FPGA’s. • Responsibilities also included developing system level specifications from network requirements, systems and board level architecture, firmware and software designs, component selection including major ICs, FPGA designs; vendor management; interfacing with product marketing and customers and Engineering management of various groups through FCS and beyond. • Engineering manager for the design and development of more than 35 boards, systems and chips including IP/MPLS Router system in Lucent CBX500, Pepsi1.5 projects, Juniper’s entire ATM2 line cards, Juniper’s channelized SONET/SDH, PDH and serial line cards, M7i and M10i router platforms etc.
