DEME is one of the world's largest groups of dredging and marine engineering companies. -Joined the division investing in land and port development projects in Asia. -Acted as the Vietnam resident manager of an international consortium consisting of DEME and American and Thai co-investors. -Coordinated the negotiations with the Vietnamese Government of 2 JVs developing industrial parks. -Guided the process of obtaining investment licenses and several other government licenses and permits. -Started up the operations of and co-managed both JVs as their Deputy General Director. -Took responsibility of the marketing and sales of both JVs and negotiated and closed international sales contracts with American, French and Vietnamese customers.
