As formulator for the EMEA unitdose laundry detergent platform I transform my technical and scientific knowledge into formulas to deliver the P&G promise to our consumers. Some examples of my daily activities are: (i) Identify reformulations for cost-savings or to drive certain product performance vectors, (ii) Design formulas as reaction to supply crisis, (iii) Investigate formulation issues at the production plant or in the market (iv) Ensure product stability and performance across shelf life Next to this formulator role, I have expanded my responsibilities into digital innovation, for example by using common BI tools to activate/analyze formulation data.
As a product researcher I am responsible for supporting various challenging regional and global projects within the Unitdose platform. My specific role is to identify opportunities and issues, analyse them and bring solutions forward on this global platform. Specifically, I am the link between consumers or non-technical teams and the R&D team. This includes supporting commercial teams, scientific product understanding, risk analysis, technical and consumer prediction modelling. Historically, I have been active within the liquid laundry detergent platform supporting design of new laundry detergents.
