Bart has 14 years of consulting experience, mainly as management consultant, taking the responsibility for project delivery over architectural designs to leading competence centers. Last years Bart is taking up combined management roles at customer side: - Competence Manager, responsible for defining the BI strategy and building & managing a regional BI Center of Excellence - Project Manager, providing BI solutions for different functional SAP programs. Covering application, infrastructure, governance, security in the domains of BI & Analytics - Start-up of a BI practice for a consulting firm (CANGURU) - Team Lead of a BI teams from 4 to 15 people Colleagues describe Bart as a flexible, dedicated and goal oriented team player, walking the extra miles to meet and exceed objectives. He masters very well IT concepts and is able to translate business requirements in technical solutions and drawing strategies, always focussing on business value, quality and people. During his career, his interests for functional domains and management grew. Therefore, in 2008, he decided to take a two-year international MBA program for General Management at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School in Gent, which was successfully completed in 2010. In 2015, after several years of project management experience, Bart successfully passed the certification track as Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI) In September 2018, Bart joined Lidl Belgium & Luxemburg as Head of IT (CIO).
