Over the past 20 years I worked in different domains at one of the worlds leading development & manufacturing global players for automotive products, Robert Bosch. I had the opportunity to work at different locations in Germany, UK and Belgium. During my career I managed different positions as product development engineer, global project leader, OE account manager, quality manager, launch manager and R&D Manager Chemical Process Development. Currently I am working as Program Director. A leadership role with target responsibility for product development, engineering and industrialization of a whole new portfolio of automotive wiper and cleaning systems. My direct reports are the program managers located WW at Bosch's R&D locations. I embrace innovations and love to work in an interdisciplinary global team.

Direct reports are project managers located at Bosch's R&D locations WW. This role reports directly to the president of the business unit at Bosch's HQ in Germany. My challenge is to lead and coach the teams, orchestrate the resources, and deliver to target. #WeAreBosch
The role Manager Chemical Process Development is a leadership role which is responsible for the research and development for chemical process development for Original Equipment and Aftermarket of Bosch Wiper Systems. The department gathers a team of highly skilled engineers and chemists. They operate as specialists and project managers, and are a crucial interface towards product engineering, manufacturing, quality and Business Unit. Their goal is to develop and pre-engineer new manufacturing technologies in the field of painting operations (wiper blade & arm), rubber mixing, injection and extrusion moulding (wiper rubber profiles), and wiper rubber surface treatment operations. For these manufacturing processes the aim is to generate and industrialize new production technologies as well as to optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve quality and profitability. The department acts within the Bosch Devision as Competence Center. Its home base is the Bosch Lead Plant at Tienen (Belgium). The team operates with a global approach and supports other production locations (e.g. Serbia, China, India, Thailand) and its suppliers worldwide to ensure implementation of standardized processes. The target is to fulfill customer expectations, achieve excellence in quallity with a clear continuous improvement approach.
• Coordination and management of new product launches for OEM customers • Reporting to Plant Manager and Production Director • Leading and coaching interdisciplinary "Launch Team" (> 20 employees) • Window Person towards Business Unit at HQ Robert Bosch GmbH (D) • As Center of Competence creating worldwide standards • Introducing Launch Management at WW production subsidiaries • Supporting the build of new production satellites WW • Assuring an flawless launch of initial applications WW • Achievements: successful launches of dozens of new vehicles, introduction of management tools and standards (visualisation, KPI's), introducing Launch Management at new production locations in Hungary and Serbia
• Supervising production quality including outsourced activities • Coordination and management of external and internal customer claims • Leading and coaching team of approx. 30 employees (including bleu collar) • Achievements: achieving aggressive ppm-targets (0-Mileage <10), introducing new monitoring tools for KPI's (e.g. 8D cycle time, 8D quality level)
• Coordination of new product launches • Coordination of interdisciplinary activities at the plant • Liaison engineer towards OEM Customers and project leaders at Business Unit
• Management of Ford, GM and Fiat Account for business unit wiper systems (Turnover > 70 Million EUR) • Responsible for project management and commercial result • Leading and coaching team of >10 project leaders / sales engineers • Interface for regional activities in Nafta and Mercusol • Achievements: > 90% Market share at Ford, new acquisitions at Fiat/Alfa
• Final responsibility for project results including commercial performance • Coaching resident engineers at Ford development centres in London and Cologne. • Achievements: introduction first Bosch Wiper Systems at Jaguar
