With over two decades of executive experience across information technology, strategic consulting, technical diving, and behavioral science, my career has been defined by innovation, leadership, and cross-disciplinary impact. I began my journey at the forefront of digital transformation, spearheading the first Microsoft .NET pilot project in the Benelux at Interpolis while the platform was still in beta. This early achievement demonstrated my appetite for emerging technologies and my capacity to drive pioneering initiatives from concept to deployment. As Director of Bid Management at LogicaCMG Financial Services, I led €120M+ accounts and directed multinational bid strategies that helped position the firm as a major player in Europe’s financial sector. Recognized for my strategic vision, I was invited to found and lead the Dutch branch of PL2 Holding, where I established the operational, legal, and financial foundations of the company while cultivating strategic alliances with leading institutions such as Fortis and ING. In 2004, I was appointed Chairman of the National Geographic Coelacanth Expedition, co-leading the mission alongside Dr. Mark Erdman to explore one of the planet’s most ancient species. This expedition combined scientific rigor, high-risk operations, and media collaboration — further reinforcing my ability to lead under extreme conditions. Upon relocating to the United States, I transitioned into entrepreneurship, launching Tactical K9 Solutions and later Canine Evolutions, where I brought a neuroscience-based, relationship-centered approach to dog behavior education. Through these ventures, I’ve applied my systems-thinking background and leadership expertise to develop signature methodologies, educational programs, and a comprehensive 5-hour video course: From Tyrant to Teacher: Foundations of Animal Behavior.
