Key Responsibilities - Implementing the Engie electrical safe system of work, control and issue safety of documents. - Carrying out risk assessments and implementing control measures as required. - Assisted with delivery of Competent Person Training, inductions for all site personnel. - Creating switching schedules for the safe isolation/energisation of LV switch panels
- Managing the installation of switchgear, cable management systems, small power and lighting at Stepney Green Shaft serving the new Crossrail Project. - Undertaking planning of work phases including 4-week and 12-week forecasts. - Monitoring progress, performing safety checks, leading procurement and overseeing the delivery of materials / plant. - Coordinating all contractors / sub-contractors for fire alarm and BMS installations. - Managing all aspects of Health and Safety and holding toolbox talks / inductions when required. - Holding position as LV Authorised Person for the issuance of electrical permits. - Chairing daily and weekly meetings with contractors to review progress levels. - Resolving day-to-day on-site issues in a timely, amicable and efficient manner. - Undertaking risk assessment reviews and creating method statements. - Ensuring that work was completed in accordance with the latest construction drawings / schematics. - Reviewed and re-designed CMS to ensure key handover dates were achieved.
Key Responsibilities - Supervised the electrical fit out of each floor including the 48th floor plant room of the Leadenhall building. - Managed all technical challenges of electrical installation at Europe’s largest biomedical research institute. - Undertook the procurement of materials and organisation of labour and sub-contractors to complete works. - Chased materials that had not been delivered to site as scheduled and ensured they were delivered promptly. - QA to all Electrical installations in a systematic way to ensure the finest quality was always maintained.
