Mr. Barry W. Hoffman was appointed to the Army's Senior Executive Service in September 2020 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer/Director of Resource Management, Headquarters, United States Army Futures Command (AFC) located in Austin, Texas. He is the senior financial advisor to the AFC Commanding General on fiscal matters and serves as the lead for managing the Command's day-to-day resource operations with responsibility for programming, budgeting, execution, financial accounting and reporting, acquisition oversight, and audit readiness. Mr. Hoffman served over 21 years as a commissioned officer in the United States Army Finance Corps prior to becoming an Army civilian.
