About

With over three years of pioneering advancements in sustainable transportation at Urbanloop, my expertise lies in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve breakthroughs in public transit safety and efficiency. My mission is to spearhead projects that changes urban mobility, aligning with Urbanloop's commitment to innovation and sustainability. My competencies in systems engineering and project management are bolstered by a profound dedication to integrating mechatronics and software systems that meet stringent industry standards. As the head of integration and engineering, the past 1.5 years have been dedicated to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to deliver the industry’s first public demonstrator in time for the 2024 Paris Olympics. This role requires meticulous adherence to cost, quality, and delivery timelines, ensuring that our headlining vehicle meets the ambitious safety benchmarks of public transport. My multidisciplinary expertise are instrumental in driving our team towards setting a new mean of transportation using autonomous rail-guided vehicles improving energy efficiency.

Experience

  • Senior Electronic Engineer at TRAPIL
    Jun 2025 - Present · 1 yr 2 mos

Design and improvement of pipeline in line inspection robots using ultrasounds for non destructive testing

  • Urbanloop (4 yrs 10 mos)
    • Director of Engineering
      Jan 2023 - Jun 2025 · 2 yrs 6 mos

The new industrial prototype validate, the next goal of Urbanloop is to open an industrial demonstrator open to the public (so following all the public transportation safety standards) before the Olympic Games of 2024 in Paris. Urbanloop growing, the structure of the company. In this new organization needs to be strenthgened. In this new organization, my tasks are the following: - Lead the engineering team - Check the respect of system requirements - QCD design and production follow up of the lead vehicle - Production planning and scheduling of the first vehicle series of the company for the industrial demonstrator open to the public

    • System Architect
      Jan 2022 - Jan 2023 · 1 yr 1 mo

The proof of concept approved and the team growing, there was now a need for an industrial prototype. This shift required to use the lessons learnt from the proof of concept prototype to define the system architecture and design. My tasks for this period were the following: - Requirement definition of the system - Architecture definition of the system - Requirement definition of the system's on-board and signaling softwares (5 softwares in total, including one following the SIL3 railway safety standards) - Architecture definition of the SIL3 safety software - Requirement definition and platform selection of the SIL3 safety hardware This year lead to the public revelation of the new industrial prototype to the public on the main plaza of the city and to a public show during the start of the 2022 Tour de France sin Tomblaine.

    • Embedded System Engineer
      Sep 2020 - Dec 2021 · 1 yr 4 mos

First of employee of the company, the goal was to develop the first prototype, proof of concept of the start-up's innovative public transport. My tasks were the following: - Design the electronic board installed in the proof of concept vehicle - Design the software embedded in the proof of conception vehicle - Install the 1.2km test track for real world tests of the proof of concept vehicle This first year lead to the establishement of the lowest energy consumption world record for a guided autonomous vehicle. This event was proformed in front of representatives (Ministry of Tranportation, Senator, and local mayors) and TV reporters (TF1, France 2, France 3, M6, NHK).

  • PHD at École normale supérieure de Rennes
    Sep 2017 - Aug 2020 · 3 yrs

  • Master Thesis at DTU - Technical University of Denmark
    Mar 2017 - Aug 2017 · 6 mos

This master thesis is the beginning of my PhD. It treats of P2P Market impacts on the Power System

  • Engineering Intern at The MathWorks
    May 2015 - Jul 2015 · 3 mos

Working on Mars Rover robot as an Application Engineer, from a Mathworks competition at Innorobo (Lyon). Developing activities for education on the Mars Rover - in engineering science field.
