- Barend Zwets has matured from a background in structural calculations and stability analyses for jack-ups and semi-submersibles for the offshore industry to a section head engineering and construction position, in which he manages a multi-disciplined team, which is involved in all areas of a project from the preparation phase through the construction phase, to the final commissioning and hand-over. - Barend Zwets studied marine technology and graduated in the design of offshore structures, he matured into the area of section head engineering and construction from periods spent in engineering departments as a naval architect, time spent with an operations support department where he initially was responsible for providing engineering services to a base office or directly to FPSO’s operating in the North Sea, and later as offshore construction superintendent was responsible for onshore preparation and offshore execution of projects. - Barend Zwets is married with three children, resides in the Netherlands and communicates native language Dutch and is fluently in English. - Barend Zwets has wide experience in managing offshore modifications, from coordinating engineering support and conducting offshore surveys and supervising the execution phase, to managing teams involved in Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
