My interest in technology began in childhood. At 13, I started working with computer hardware in my uncle’s repair shop, marking the beginning of my IT journey. I graduated from Istanbul Commerce University in Computer Technology and Programming, completed my Economics degree at Anadolu University, and earned a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Marmara University. Early in my career, I worked in both sales and technical operations. At Vatan Computer, I served as a notebook sales consultant for two years and managed the Toshiba promoter team as a supervisor. I then joined Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, where I spent five years in system administration and information security operations. I gained hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Security, Patch Management, Data Center Design, and Network Administration, along with enterprise security tools such as Trend Micro Apex One, IBM QRadar SIEM, and GTB DLP. I also supported airport hotel, parking systems, airline IT infrastructures, and POS systems, while providing L1–L3 end-user support and resolving complex technical issues. At Trendyol Group, I first worked as a System Specialist, managing Active Directory, Exchange Online, M365 Security, and Layer 2–3 user support. Later, I joined the Information Security team as a Senior Information Security Engineer. In this role, I focus on DLP, CASB, MDM, Data Discovery & Classification, Endpoint Security, and User Awareness — contributing to data protection, compliance, risk mitigation, and incident response. I hold ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CompTIA Security+, and CDP® certifications, with strong expertise in ISMS, GDPR / KVKK compliance, Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, and Security Governance. I also mentor engineering and cybersecurity students within Marmara University’s mentorship program, supporting their professional growth. Strategy & Planning * Collaborate with network staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes. * Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues. Acquisition & Deployment * Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems. *Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. * Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. * Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services. * Carrying out all information systems functions to provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, To intervene and provide solutions to end users' software and hardware-related problems or requests arising from the operating system, office software and third-party applications, using on-site/remote connection methods * Opening and updating incidents and requests on the ITSM application regarding problems and requests, intervening in accordance with predetermined periods and adhering to the relevant instructions * Carrying out activities related to making the first response to possible outages and notifying the relevant parties and the manager when necessary.
