In 2021, shortly after joining Deloitte, I initiated Deloitte's Quantum Climate Challenge, with the first installment being held in early 2022. Deloitte's Quantum Climate Challenge aims to raise awareness of quantum computing's potential as a new tool for tackling problems in the field of sustainability and climate. Additionally, it serves as an active technology assessment of the timescale of quantum computing's impact on these challenges. We aim to bring together experts from diverse fields to collaboratively explore the capabilities and applications of quantum computing in addressing climate change and fostering sustainable practices.
