Program Manager Managed the Haynes Inc $34M Prime contract to the Department of State’s Charleston Global Financial Services Division. • Responsible for personnel, cost, schedule, and overall performance of the contract. • Served as the key liaison between Department of State senior management, SMEs, internal partners to support of program activities. • Lead a staff of 200 direct employees and 172 sub-contractors. • Developed, trained, and mentored six Assistant Program Managers who provided the supervision of direct staff employees. • Managed the two subcontract managers and responsible for contract agreements between Haynes Inc and the subcontract companies. • Held overall responsibility for the cost management/avoidance, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities associated with the program. Human Resources • Administered human resource activities for all Haynes personnel. • Managed all open positions on internet job boards and screened resumes for these positions. • Onboarded all new employees, facilitated the benefit selections and security training requirements. • Assisted with Leave administration, including Short Term Disability, FMLA, Military Leave, Maternity Leave, Unpaid Leave, etc. • Reviewed and responded to Unemployment Compensation claims. • Provided support during corrective action and termination meetings. • Maintained compliance with Federal, State and local employment benefits laws and regulations. Facility Security Officer As the Facility Security Officer (FSO) manage the process for program related security items. • Initiated all new security clearances on potential employees. • Maintained all current employee security records through the Department of Defense DISS security system. • Coordinated initial, ongoing and refresher security education and training as needed. • Facilitated new employee security briefings and security indoctrinations.
Formed a company to purchase homes to renovate for resale or retain for personal rentals. • Performed pro-forma and cash-flow analysis on potential properties. • Worked as the General Contractor on all projects. • Managed, hired, coordinated, and supervised all subcontractor work throughout the entire building process. • Obtained all relevant building permits per local building regulations and per national building codes. • Designed and implemented all building changes and modifications per applicable building standards.
