I am a biotechnologist with several years of fundamental and applied research experience. Nowadays I exploit my microbiology background and bacteriophage expertise both for the development and the application strategy of food safety products. Keeping in mind one of the main goals that scientific research should pursue: everyday life improvement, I set to keep learning and applying my skill set on product development, food safety applications, and bacteriophage handling.

Characterizing newly discovered lacticococcal bacteriophages. Analyzing rare phage-host interaction mechanisms in Lactococcus lactis. Developing natural methodologies to improve lactic acid bacteria strains using bacteriophages transduction.
Study of the role played by some mutations that may accour in the connection subdomain of the HIV-1 reverse transcriptase on the resistance to the non nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors nevirapine and rilpivirine. Main techniques used: production and purification of recombinant proteins in E.Coli, SDS page on denaturing agarose gel, biochemicals assays using 32P.
