I'm a founder and Director of Our Yard at Clitterhouse Farm - an award winning social enterprise. Founded in 2013 (incorporated 2015) to stop the demolition of these historic Victorian farm buildings in North West London. After successfully running an intensive public campaign to secure the building’s future, we have been working tirelessly to transform the entire site into a sustainable hub of activity and enterprise that is focussed on creating and supporting resilient communities and small business. We run a cafe, garden, have a bakery and pottery studio on site and run regular and varied events, markets, workshops and training. In my role as Director I share responsibility for our strategic direction, governance, finance and funding and liaising with our range of stakeholders. Our Yard is a not-for-profit company. We have been generously supported by The National Lottery, Mayor of London (Greener City Fund and Good Growth Fund) The Hadley Trust, Kew Gardens, Architectural Heritage Fund, Pocket Parks (DCLG), Barnet Council and many others. In September 2022, we won the Open Spaces Stewardship Award from Open City London. www.ouryard.org
