Youth Transforming Narratives (YTN) is a global movement of young people led by young people for young people who commit to re-defining global responses to the world’s most pressing issues. Building on the principles of decolonization, localization, and youth leadership, we are determined to challenge the narrative, take the lead in transforming the current existing structures, and bridge the South-North gap to re-shape future engagement.
IEP Ambassadors comprises an international network of emerging and established peacebuilders from a wide range of fields and affiliations. Through this program, I will be contributing to a more peaceful world and advancing my career prospects. The program is designed to provide me with information, resources, and tools to understand and communicate innovative peace research. I will be joining other leaders who are creating a paradigm shift in the way the world interacts with and understands peace.
The MENA Fellowship Program is designed for civil society leaders, activists and professionals from the MENA region who are interested in strengthening democratic processes through the use of technology. During the program, fellows will engage in learning, peer exchange and practical work focused on key areas such as: fact-checking and accountability, civic participation and education, government and election monitoring, research and advocacy and the application of digital tools in democracy-building efforts.
The Global Youth Community Platform – the first youth-led and youth-focused umbrella platform aiming at strengthening youth collaboration and connection as well as engagement with UNESCO. As an active participant, I provide feedback and participate in all activities.
Supervising, planning, and curating, along with the Youth Champion, the operations of the CoP for over 400 active members from the global south to create meaningful youth engagement under the supervision of the YP2LE network.
USAID requested YP2LE’s assistance to develop a case study of the Jobs, Opportunities, and Business Success (JOBS) initiative in Tunisia. This case study will provide understanding of what works to foster government ownership and integration of youth workforce development (YWFD) reforms in Tunisia. While the focus of the case study is engagement with government entities as key partners in YWFD systems, other actors from the private sector, community-based organizations, families, and youth themselves will also be considered. To respond to this request, YP2LE will utilize complexity-aware learning and evaluation methods including outcome harvesting (OH) to learn about JOBS project achievements and consider contributions from multiple and diverse actors interacting with each other in complex ways within the Tunisia system. OH will be complemented by other methods, including systems modeling and timeline development, as well as more traditional qualitative methods such as key informant interviews and focus groups. These findings will contribute to the case study report as well as the final synthesis report that will compare and contrast findings from two other case studies in the Philippines and South Africa. The Youth Researcher will collaborate with the research team to conduct the desk review, provide input into the research questions, support the local research team with facilitating workshops and trainings with stakeholders, including their youth networks, and review the case study report.
