I've always been drawn to supply chain for one simple reason — it keeps the world moving. Behind every product on a shelf, every delivery at a door, there's a chain of decisions, people, and processes that made it happen. That's the part I love. Over the past 7 years I've worked across distribution, customer service, and international order management — from coordinating medical equipment across 80+ locations in EMEA, to managing a multi-country customer cluster across the Nordics and DACH regions. Along the way I've driven OTIF and CSL performance from ~80% to 98–99%, helped a company transition from startup to scaleup, and pioneered a cross-regional packaging project now rolled out globally by our parent company. What motivates me most is the challenge — finding the bottleneck nobody noticed, streamlining the process that slowed everyone down, or turning a difficult customer relationship into a genuine partnership. As Customer Manager Supply for the Nordics and DACH regions, I own end-to-end order management across 4 direct accounts and 12 distributors — from order intake through to delivery and invoicing. In this role I drove OTIF and Customer Service Level (CSL) performance from ~80% to 98–99% through deep-dive root cause analysis, 3PL resource coordination, and close collaboration with demand planning to better understand sellout patterns and SKU behaviour. Beyond the day-to-day, I pioneered a harmonised multilingual label project with our Canadian head office that standardised packaging across all EMEA markets, eliminating the need for country-specific market research and reducing market entry lead time by 2–4 weeks per launch. The project has since been adopted and rolled out globally by the parent company, with projected cost savings in the 6-to-7-digit range. I also rebuilt a challenging direct account relationship into a genuinely collaborative partnership through proactive communication and consistent follow-through — something I'm particularly proud of. As one of the founding members of the supply chain team during a pivotal startup-to-scaleup transition, I managed end-to-end order processing for a direct DACH account, handling everything from order intake through to 3PL coordination and customer communication. During this period I collaborated with an external consulting firm to map current-state processes and define the desired operational model — contributing directly to how the team operates today. I also worked closely with customers to eliminate redundant paperwork from the shipping process, cutting processing time by an estimated 2–4 days per order. As the team grew, I onboarded and trained all three of the current supply chain team members, building the foundational knowledge and ways of working that the team still runs on. This role was built around the EMEA launch of a brand new product line — capital medical equipment requiring a high degree of logistical precision and cross-border coordination. I served as the primary logistics coordinator for the movement and servicing of 24 units across the region, operating in an environment where accuracy was non-negotiable. Alongside managing the operational flow, I built the spare parts infrastructure from scratch — designing and creating 80+ physical storage locations in the warehouse, implementing inventory scanning, and integrating the setup into company systems. I also collaborated with the quality department to develop SOPs that ensured compliance and consistency across the servicing programme, and actively participated in on-site maintenance including electrical testing of units. Working in the distribution function of a medical device company meant operating to an exceptionally high standard — the products I handled were used in surgical and trauma procedures, where errors carried direct patient safety implications. That context shaped how I approached every task. In this role I managed inbound and outbound logistics activities, maintained inventory documentation within WMS systems, and developed packing guidelines and safety protocols to ensure consistency across daily operations. I also contributed to the rollout of a warehouse scanning system, working closely with my line manager on both the planning and physical implementation. My first professional role in supply chain, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics for an industrial wholesale distributor with an exceptionally broad product range — from small fasteners and components to heavy industrial machinery. The variety of products required adaptability and a strong eye for detail across multi-category inventory.
