+ Technical and disciplinary management of the Quality Methods Team + Responsible for processes and tools regarding quality methods: focus on Design/Process/Reverse FMEA and special characteristics + Strategic guidance of the departments and plants worldwide regarding the methods mentioned above + Project lead for strategic projects to improve preventive quality + Responsible for standardization and modularization of Design FMEAs in close cooperation with R&D department + Leading FMEA activities for the highly innovative steer-by-wire systems
+ Moderating Design FMEAs for different projects, steering systems and components + Working on standardization and modularization of FMEAs + Using APQP core tools to improve preventive quality + Implementing lessons learned topics + Performing trainings regarding quality methods (FMEA, classification of characteristics) + Supporting project teams at internal and customer audits + Performing supplier FMEA reviews with Supplier Quality Managers
SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER + Handling and analysis of customer requirements for steering systems (IBM Doors) for several projects with top automotive OEMs + Breakdown of requirements to component level in cooperation with HW, SW and Sensor teams + Creating system specification based on customer and internal requirements + Creating system design in Enterprise Architect (System Breakdown Structure, Interface Descriptions, Functional Architecture) + Focus on SW, mainly Error Handling and Diagnostics & FMEA MODERATOR + Trained FMEA moderator (certificate by APIS) + Planning and moderating Design FMEAs for steering systems (system and component level, mechanics and electronics) + Cooperating with Safety Team regarding FMEA/FMEDA according to ISO26261
