Accountable for robust Biosciences inputs to identify novel target opportunities, target validation, biochemical assay development, cell based and enzyme based evaluation of lead generation opportunities, lead optimization, pre-clinical and early clinical development for the treatment tuberculosis and malaria. Chairperson, Institutional Biosafety Committee; Institutional Human Biobank Accountable for developing, sustaining and delivering value to AstraZeneca through public-private partnerships such as the Global Alliance for TB, Medicines for Malaria Venture, MM4TB consortium and the Wellcome Trust.
