I gained hands-on experience using EPIC and AdvancedMD Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for validating patient data, reviewing clinical documentation, and tracking claim workflows. This role provided deep insight into healthcare operations, billing processes, coding standards (ICD-10, CPT), and payer-provider communication building a solid foundation for my current journey in healthcare data science and digital transformation.
