Current MD candidate after having completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies in medical physics. Previous career experiences in the military working for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and in radiopharmaceutical production at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) . Most recent research experience in dosimetric and radiobiological effects of radionuclide cocktails for Radiopharmaceutical Therapy as part of an MPhil in Nuclear Medicine Physics. Additional research experience in MR-Linac technology for image guided radiation therapy and innovative radiation hard detectors for high energy physics applications.
Research conducted as part of Honours research project and collaborated with colleagues from various scientific and medical backgrounds for the design and implementation of innovative medical devices for use in MRI-Guided radiotherapy as part of the Australian MR-Linac Program. Acted as communication correspondent between the University of Wollongong and the Australian MR-Linac Program.
Demonstrated a variety of physics experiments for UOW’s Discovery Day sparking an interest in the field for year 12 high school students. Acted as Lab Demonstrator/ Tutor for university physics bridging course
After High School I served in the mustering of Airbase Protection in the Royal Australian Air Force for one year. This involved 3 months of basic recruit training in Wagga Wagga, 3 months of combat and security training at RAAF Base Amberley, and 6 months as qualified Airbase Protection Personnel in Townsville.
