Responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and deployment of NCR's suite of banking software solutions on multiple simultaneous projects based on business and operational requirements in a variety of customer-facing business relationships for major financial institutions in the United States, Canada, and Australia. • Develop, configure, and test product solutions to meet customer requirements and improve business processes. • Advise customers on project implementation and rollout strategies, serving as a point of escalation and liaison between customer and NCR levels of business. • Mentor and train junior staff to develop their technical skills and abilities.
Researched and analyzed insurance-linked securities, sidecars, collateralized reinsurance, catastrophe bonds, and related products. Developed financial models and business plans for an insurance-linked securities asset manager. Produced internal and external presentation materials to acquire potential investors.
Monitored Ontario's electricity market for anomalous behaviour. Investigated electricity market participants for gaming or abuse of market power. Recommended and implemented improvements to the existing structure of Ontario's electricity market. Aided in the recuperation of eight million dollars wrongfully distributed to Ontario electricity generators.
Developed Flash learning objects for Grade 7-12 Mathematics as part of an Ontario Ministry of Education project. Created an online graphing calculator as well as other Web-based tools in ActionScript to be used as a teaching aid.
