My PhD thesis analyzes Afghan women's everyday resistance practices against complex power systems in Iran, with a focus on how they combine multiple practices to resist material and ideational domination at the family, societal and governmental levels.
Coached two groups of 6 students in responding to real-world organizational challenges, focusing on driving impactful outcomes for the transition to net-zero emissions in collaboration with Edinburgh Social Enterprise (ESEN) and LivingPlaces. Facilitated team collaboration by implementing conflict resolution strategies and promoting positive work environment. Guided solution development and presentations, resulting in actionable recommendations for ESEN.
Coordinated peer support initiatives across 5+ academic disciplines, organizing cultural and well-being events to enhance student engagement. Advocated for enhanced staff-student communication and collaboration by introducing peer-driven activities and engagement opportunities. Streamlined administrative processes, including data management on scheduling, attendance tracking, and feedback analysis.
Facilitated engaging discussions on social, political, and cultural topics for classes of +15 students, fostering critical thinking. Delivered hybrid classes using IT tools like Microsoft Teams, increasing interactive participation by 25%. Planned lessons, organized classroom materials, and assessed student essays, providing targeted feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
