Mission: Reporting to Asia managing director for Purchase orders management and Transportation. Leading a team of +30 (managers, officers, coordinators) located in Asia Head quarter, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. • Managing a Shipping cost of $ 120M and orders portfolio of $ 400 M covering 4 key group of commodities: Furniture/Sofa/electrical appliances/Household. • Definition of yearly Supply chain plan from Fob Asia to warehouses/stores in Europe. • Development of GIGA international network with shipping lines & international freight forwarders. Yearly bidding of 100.000 Teus • Leading Suppliers warehouse Management in Far east for buyer’s consolidation. • PO management: Just in time, Supplier's delay penalties , logistics solutions to ensure time to market. • Pricing / space / allocation management . • It Management: implementation of new Supply Chain software (order and Transport management) Achievement • Increasing brand awareness/ penetration of GIGA international towards shipping lines and international freight forwarders for global coverage. • Optimizing cost of Shipping from Asia to Europe: => competitiveness during Covid 19 vs high shipping cost. • Control cost of Demurrage/Detention/storage: negotiation of all free time conditions in Europe with Shipping line. • On time delivery and ensuring goods availability facing supply chain historical disruption between 2020 and 2023

Leading a team of 18 operating staff located in Asia Head quarter, Shenzhen. • Managing a Shipping cost of $ 20M and orders portfolio of $190 M covering 4 key group of commodities: Furniture/Sofa/electrical appliances/Household. • Definition of yearly Supply chain plan from Fob Asia to DDP warehouses/stores in France. • Development of BUT network towards shipping lines for a direct Booking approach with a yearly bidding of 18.000 Teus • Leading Suppliers warehouse Management in India/China for buyer’s consolidation. • PO management: Just in time, delay penalties for each supplier, Railway + airfreight solutions to ensure time to market for French stores. • Sea/Air/Rail pricing / space management using worldwide integrated supply chain providers. • It Management: new Supply Chain software for operation from Far east to France including both PO, transport and warehouse. Achievement • Successfully reducing cost of Shipping from Asia to France: - € 2M year on year for transportation cost while yearly market rates were up due to a concentrated shipping industry from far east to Europe. • Cut the cost of Demurrage/Detention/storage: -€3M year on year (re-negotiation of all free time conditions in France with Shipping line providers and change of intermodal solutions) • Transforming the Asia transport plan of BUT with a direct approach of Shipping lines for port to port and French carrier haulages: 6 shipping lines working now with BUT. • Implementation of new lead time terms for BUT Far East suppliers allowing more visibility for buyers from France HQ. • Selection of 3 providers for new IT system: budget confirmed for implementation in FY 2019 by top management of BUT. • Maintaining service rate of BUT Asia Suppliers at 90% while market was impacted by various factors (currency/Usa/anti-pollution measures in china).

Achievement Successfully gain in volume.between 2012 and 2015 (70k to 124k TEUs). • enlarging the suppliers ‘relationship up to top 10 carriers, top 3 airlines and Top 2 railway operators for our key trades. • Set up a department of foreigner sales coming from various countries (Africa Europe, Middle east, Russia) and now well established into Chinese market for logistics and trading. • Development of Sourcing/trading division in 3 years reaching 15 million USD purchase in 2015 from/to China for commodities such as tablets pc, phone accessories, LED products, Argan Oil, French cutlery, Dry& frozen food.
Responsible for the P&L of 3 maritime lines calling West Coast Africa (15 ships jointly deployed) • Managing a P&L of 124 million USD turnover with volumes of 180.000 TEUs in 2012 shipped. • Ensuring the best service deployment in the area together with a focus on profitability of the lines. • Establishing the marketing and pricing strategy for each Line together with local agencies. • Lead a team of 20 people including senior commercial managers and senior operation managers at head office level. • Budgeting financial prospects together with Cost control / head office finance department. Achievement: • Successfully brought back to profitability the lines after only 6 months of operation. • + 15% growth on our volume Middle East to West Africa. And +17% growth on East Coast South America to West Africa. • Secured 3 Key accounts exporting meats & chickens from Brazil & Argentina during my trip. • Integration & promotion of Delmas staff from Le Havre to Marseille CMA CGM head office. Economy of scale (Back office).
In charge of the commercial strategy and prepaid pricing for all trades (20 maritime lanes). Interface between the 30 offices (605 staffs) and the Head Office. Achievement: • Increased Export/Import performance year 2011– year 2008 (+68%). • Ranked 3rd largest carrier to Europe, Mediterranean, 2nd largest carrier to Africa. • Secured major Chinese accounts bringing over 40 million USD/ year revenue for the group. • Set up the best cargo segmentation for North Africa and Red sea trades generating highest revenue per container from china. • Development of New division for Freight Forwarding &warehousing South China, including recruitment of Arabic & Russian speaking sales.
