I am an Assistant Professor at Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea, with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. My research focuses on computational biology and the development of methods for analyzing large-scale genomic data. I am particularly interested in building approaches that make complex datasets more interpretable and useful for advancing biological knowledge. I have strong expertise in Python, R, Perl, and Linux, which I use to design pipelines, algorithms, and analytical tools for genomic studies. My work includes genomic prediction, genome-wide association studies, and multi-omics data integration. I also apply computational techniques to improve data processing, prediction accuracy, and reproducibility in research. I enjoy mentoring students and early-career researchers, guiding them in bioinformatics and helping them explore opportunities in higher education and research. I believe in collaboration, clarity, and consistency, and I strive to contribute to a research community where data-driven approaches lead to real scientific progress.
