I am Azinaida Ruth Moyo, an oceanographer graduated from the University of Namibe (UNINBE), working at the intersection of marine science, geotechnologies, and environmental management. I build my career with a focus on transforming environmental data into strategic information to support decision-making, especially in offshore and onshore contexts. Currently, I work as a monitor in Satellite Oceanography and Geographic Information Systems, consolidating skills in spatial analysis, data interpretation, and the application of geospatial technologies to the marine environment. I have technical training in Geoprocessing, Basic Survey, HSE, and Environmental Management, which allows me to contribute in an integrated way to projects involving the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of MetOcean data, always aligned with the highest standards of operational safety and sustainability. I also have a strong involvement in marine conservation, being a leader of the Natur Angola Association (Moçâmedes Branch) and a member of the Kit Project Kitabanga, Kitabanga, with active participation in the protection of sea turtles and in scientific production focused on environmental monitoring. Ability to reduce operational uncertainties through the analysis and integration of geospatial and environmental data, directly contributing to safer, more efficient operations with reduced environmental impact a critical factor for the success of projects in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. My goal is to join a national or international company in the areas of Oceanography, Survey, HSE, or MetOcean, adding value through technical rigor, analytical vision, and commitment to measurable results. Open to national and international opportunities.
• Provided academic support to students in scientific subjects, strengthening their analytical and critical thinking skills. • Developed instructional materials, organising educational content in a clear and structured manner. • Monitored students' academic performance, reporting progress and challenges to the supervising lecturer. • Assisted in the creation of thematic and hydrological maps, as well as their cartographic production. • Assisted in hydrocarbon mapping for research projects conducted by the University of Namibe.
• Operation of seabed sampling equipment (Grab Sampler) for sediment analysis. • Handling of water column sensors (CTD) for physical profiling. • Application of deck safety protocols (HSE) and sample organization.
Observed and identified different aquatic species using microscopy. • Identified jellyfish and other marine organisms based on their morphological characteristics. • Performed microscopic analyses of biological samples. • Recorded and interpreted data obtained during laboratory observations.
• Conducted measurements of the physical parameters of water to assess its quality. • Determined water temperature using appropriate laboratory equipment. • Assessed turbidity levels to evaluate water transparency and the presence of suspended particles. • Measured electrical conductivity to characterize the physicochemical properties of water. • Applied water sampling and quality monitoring procedures in accordance with laboratory standards. • Interpreted analytical results to evaluate the environmental conditions of water resources.
