During my voluntary summer internship, I had the opportunity to contribute to a post-earthquake urban regeneration project, focusing on how seismic activity impacts landscapes and city planning. As part of a collaborative design team, I worked on a multi-functional social space that included shops, workshops, a healthcare center, and more. My primary responsibility was the design of the kindergarten, where I focused on volumetry, materiality, and façade articulation. This experience enhanced my SketchUp and Revit skills, also deepened my understanding of real-world design challenges—especially the importance of safety and sensitivity when designing for young children.
