Ph.D. in Information Systems area from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India. Ayushi Tandon is having 10+ years of experience in Information Technology industry and research. Her research interest are: 1) User interactions on digital platforms- impact of information technology enabled features on IS use, non-use, and user engagement. 2) Information Technology for Development: Sustainable Development Goal 3 (good health and wellbeing) & 10 (reduced inequalities). She investigates use (non use), user engagement and user experience with EdTech and health information technology (Electronic Medical Records) in speciality settings. She adopts both qualitative (ethnography, case study, interview, focus group) and quantitative (panel data analysis, regression, SEM, data mining) methods for her research work. Her dissertation work highlights cultural mechanisms creating variations in the use of information technology and information systems; specifically arising within diverse and low income segments of society. Apart from this, she is also working on projects involving A/B testing and multivariate testing. Ayushi is Pacific Telecommunications council Young Scholar (2018) and part of the Future Digileaders Cohort'2020. She is alumni of Women in AI Ethics (WAIE) Collective and advocates human-centred AI and people-centred technology design. She is working as a pro-bono researcher for "Alliance for Telemedicine Registry and Evaluation."
Transforming Business through Information Technology is Term 2 course offered as part of two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), by Information Systems area faculty. Objective of this course is to help the participants understand the changing role of Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) in business and provides the conceptual frameworks to analyze them for strategic advantage. It focuses both on the “Information System” and “Information Technology” aspects. Assistance to faculty members with course involved: a. Attending classes (Case-Study mode) b. Correction/grading of answer sheets/quizzes/projects/assignments and conducting remedial sessions, if required.
Managerial Computing is Term 1 course offered as part of two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) by Information Systems area faculty. Objective of this course is to introduce electronic spreadsheet as a decision support tool for management applications and to build capabilities to model management applications for analysis on spreadsheets. Assistance to faculty members with course involved: a. Attending classes and co-ordinating Microsoft Excel hands-on sessions (workshop mode) b. Correction/grading of answer sheets/quizzes/projects/assignments and conducting remedial sessions, if required. c. Contributing to preparation/revision of course outline, reading list, class handouts
Worked as the member of Modem data team at Qualcomm which has the ownership of Mobile Access Point technology. (Worked on two MIFI devices 9X series). Worked with team on SCM activities like Klockworks, and build support to maintain the desired project correctness index. Had ownership of Linux based web server development, project for Smartphone/Dongle. Worked on ALGs, Network Address Translation feature. Development using c/c++/unix for Smartphones, on QUALCOMM chipset basically related to Network address translation. Provided support on issue resolution raised by clients (Huawei, ZTE).
