I am a second-year Media and Communications student with a passion for marketing, PR, and creative storytelling. My career journey began at The Kathmandu Post, Nepal’s leading English daily newspaper, where I worked as an online reporter for two years. There, I gained hands-on experience in news writing, copy editing, and managing digital platforms, while also contributing original articles across politics, culture, human interest, and entertainment. At Swansea University, I continue to grow my leadership and marketing experience through roles such as Student Ambassador; Marketing Lead for the Swansea University Consulting Society, the first of its kind in the varsity's history and only active student-led consulting society in Wales; and Media Officer for the Swansea University Nepalese Society. Outside of academics and professional roles, I am a creative individual. I write and perform music, have directed a short film, and have worked as a school photographer. These experiences strengthen my ability to bring fresh and innovative ideas into communications and branding. I am eager to build a career in marketing and PR, combining creativity with strategy to craft stories that connect and inspire.
