SearchX Programs and Operations - Search Results Page The Search Experience org was growing fast and needed a structured operating model. I designed and implemented a governance framework to support multiple cross-functional teams at scale. Authored and implemented an org-wide governance model that increased partner intake throughput by 5x within five months, achieved through structural process redesign rather than additional headcount. Executive escalations decreased significantly as a direct result. Owned the weekly executive operating rhythm, including moderating decision forums and synthesizing inputs across five product and engineering teams to ensure cross-functional leadership had the context required for informed, timely decisions. Led coherence across Desktop and Mobile Search Results Page, translating fragmented strategy into execution plans and resolving workload conflicts to ensure on-time feature launches. Recognition: Spot Bonus awarded within the first 6 months for high-impact project execution.
Google Compute Engine (GCE) Led a Customer Empathy Program for Google Cloud’s top 65 enterprise accounts: weekly operating rhythm consisted of agile ceremonies, execs and stakeholder engagement, and structured engineering solution-finding that unblocked long-standing and urgent customer issues. Implemented a cross-organizational change management by collaborating with multiple product and engineering groups to reduce supportability’s contact rate – a CEO initiative. Project had a big impact in improving customer satisfaction. Recognition: Google Cloud CEO Gold Award; Spot and Peer Bonuses for cross-functional impact.
WeWork company designs and builds physical and virtual shared spaces and office services globally for entrepreneurs and companies. Responsibilities included: managing systems infrastructure, networking, audio-visual, and deployment projects internationally as well as aligning with business pillars and their needs as a partner TPM. * Global Projects - scoped out, planned and executed several global projects across all continents and WeWork locations * Product Launch - built product launch plan to introduce new member offerings * Software Engineering (SWE) team - aligned with engineering manager to restructure program portfolio, create workflow processes, run sprints, manage projects, and report metrics and progress to leadership * Network Engineering - managed and brought cohesion among engineering teams to perform a large US/Canada/Latin America zone controller migration * Audiovisual Engineering - built and implemented a complex project plan to install new systems across 400+ locations (for legal compliance)
I worked with the Microsoft Research (MSR) Enable team on project managing the release of four eye control games to the Microsoft Store. These eye control games were tested on ALS patients.
I built an end to end workflow for the client by creating a database scaled to accommodate rapid growth in customer base, identifying class openings, and matching the openings to prospective customer characteristics in order to enable continuous enrollment. I also built a cleaner, more user-friendly website for them with embedded intake forms. These process improvements and data automations kept their business dynamic, reduced overhead costs by 1.5 FTEs, and increased their revenue.
1) SRE Program Manager for Ads-Frontend Responsibilities included: capacity planning, project management for 20+ engineers in Kirkland and London, quarterly presentations to senior executive leaders, and lead special projects with engineering manager. 2) SRE Program Manager for Search Quality Responsibilities included: managing platform upgrades and fleet health for 1500+ machines, conduct monthly one on one meetings with SVP, perform capacity planning, and troubleshoot issues in computing resource needs.
Ensure optimal search quality experience for Western/Northern Europe domains (12+ www.google.xx countries) Responsibilities included: managing 10+ Search Specialists (SS) in a dozen European countries, assign special projects to each SS, assign regular weekly tasks and check-ins, perform projects in specific countries for developers in headquarters, and motivate/incentivize Search Specialists to achieve job satisfaction and reduce attrition. Ran Bug FindIts and uncovered major search quality ranking issue in Germany -- leading to engineering OKRs. Nominated to participate in two selective leadership training programs.
1) Finance business partner to the Data Center Operations team under Engineering Responsibilities included: managing budget of data center build outs for three new sites; chartered and conducted working teams to ensure SOX compliance; created processes and generated reports for senior leaders. 2) Finance business partner to the Internal Systems team in Corporate Engineering Responsibilities included: managing department budget and headcount planning for Internal Systems; worked one on one with Director of department and each engineering team lead for their needs and metrics reporting; closed books for finance team monthly/quarterly. Received many peer bonuses and two nominations to company's top leadership programs.
