    1. Prime Lithium Prime Lithium has developed a patented, low-carbon process for producing battery-grade lithium hydroxide for high-performance batteries – Made in Germany. The company addresses a critical gap in Europe’s battery value chain by enabling local, sustainable lithium production and reducing import dependency. At its R&D Center in the Stade Chemical Park, Germany, more than 25 experts in chemistry, chemical engineering, and process simulation are now scaling the highly resource-efficient process. The technology is protected by five patents, with additional filings in progress. 2. Technology & Differentiation Prime Lithium combines industrially proven chemical processes with advanced process simulation and sustainable energy integration. Compared to conventional processes, Prime Lithium's new process reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 68%, while achieving higher lithium purity, greater process stability, and eliminating waste streams. A key differentiator is the ability to process two feedstocks—spodumene ore and recycled lithium from black mass—enabling supply flexibility and a circular materials strategy. 3. Execution & Milestones • Operational R&D center with 25+ experts at Stade Chemical Park • Patented low-CO₂ lithium hydroxide process (5 patents) • Successful production of initial lithium batches • Completed engineering blueprint for a 50 t/a demonstration plant; construction consortium secured • 22-hectare site secured for commercial-scale production 4. Scale-Up & Growth The next step is the construction of a demonstration plant in Stade to validate and optimize the process. This will de-risk the first commercial facility (Train 1) with a planned capacity of 20,000 tons of lithium hydroxide per year—sufficient for approximately 500,000 electric vehicles annually. 5. Financing The demonstration phase requires €25 million in equity financing to enable rapid scale-up and commercial deployment in Europe.
