With 4 + years of experience in fintech I am used to the fast paced environment the industry offers with a wide range of competence. After close collaboration with the accounting team for my previous 3+ years at Zimpler, I now spend my days as an accountant, where I am mainly responsible of client funds related processes. Some of my tasks include: - Reconciliation of corporate and client accounts. - Manual bookings in Netsuite - Accruals, balance-sheet substantiation, Assisted with the annual report - End-to-end client accounting for a regulated payments company. - Testing and providing feedback to developers in implementing our live, internal reconciliation system A project I am particularly proud to have taken part in was implementing our own reconciliation system, where I was integral in testing and providing feedback to our developers.
Support focused around payments: The customer support role at Zimpler involves a wider scope than a traditional support role does else where. The customer support has a hand in essentially all things operational. Below are some of the tasks I have been charged with in my time as a payments specialized support agent at Zimpler. - Reconciling bank transfers with our 3rd party matching system for keeping track of client funds. - Investigating deviant transactions, categorizing them for the benefit of the accounting team - Creating the custom made matching rules in our 3rd party matching system. - Making large bank transfers to merchants withdrawing funds. - Providing quality customer support through tickets (zendesk and freshdesk). - Providing internal support through slack channels and jira tickets. - Making payouts to end users. - Fraud detection. - Creating invoices to recover missing funds. - Data analytics, solving incidents.
