Start as first field engineer in Europe HP’s new "man in the van" delivery model. lead a small tech team across some regions of Germany to establish a closely relationship between service engineer and managed print customers (SBS). It’s necessary for this job role to have a very strong soft skill and activity of an independent character. End user can reach the tech directly with phone or email beside the default hotline. Not only service repair and maintain is a part of my work but also qualifying and logistic of the van inventory is in authority of myself. A secondary focus of my role was my IT Trainer job since 2008 inside the Customer Delivery organsisation. I provide technical classroom trainings for HP IPG service engineers which one start as rookie in a new career as field engineer or professional advanced trainings content for certifications. At the last four years I gave different classroom Trainings with updated content for small groups between three and five days.
I worked as co-developer in a team with CDS employees and scientists from Fraunhofer AIO on a new generation of soft skill training. The new training platform realized the best fusion of character know how from the real and virtual world, based on true scenarios from us. Over 30 participants passed the beta prototype of the leaning in February 2013 successful. Science-based analytics report us the major efficient learn effect versus classic web based training products. After we go live with the alpha version for over 100 participants, we've reach a perfect new hybrid leanring portal for technical skills around the IT business today.
My role was hardware breakfix across a range of multi-vendor desktops, notebooks and later single and multifunction printer until large format printing. I was performed service for Fujitsu Siemens, Toshiba, Xerox, NRG/Ricoh, Lexmark and HP devices. I specialized in HP Printing devices to and gained ‘H2’ engineer state. This state required very strong soft skills for customer in hot escalated face2face scenarios. I visited much HP workshops and certified trainings at this time to improve my technical and solft skills in large format printing to join deeper the printing production market. Essential: I got to know much different people on more different devices with most of the time same difficulties.
