Installed a framework to compile fewer style sheets, achieving a 70% reduction in compilation times. Revamped the legacy code by rewriting code & queries (which took more than 5 seconds) to improve the performance.
Co-ordinated with 2 engineers in migrating all the AngularJS legacy apps to React16 which improved the overall app performance on a larger scale. Led 3+ Major projects from the front. Designed and built a discussion forum & tracking framework (for the same) that helps in understanding user behaviour and accordingly suggest relative discussions to the user. Engineered the tracking framework in an optimised manner that almost uses less than 4 extra API requests when compared with the forum without tracking. Automated all the development and production pipelines by introducing GULP. This removed grunt work for engineers and also majorly improved production build speeds by 50%.
Coordinated with the team in managing deployment workflow on top of AmazonAWS. Developed a Sendgrid API-based mass-mailing web application that can trigger hundred’s of emails concurrently and also has a fail-safe mechanism. Architected an online coding platform by using Jdoodle API services which can serve thousands of concurrent users.
