Core Responsibilities 1. Operations Management Oversee opening and closing of the hub following operational SOPs. Supervise inbound sorting staff (sorters) and allocate shipments for bike or van deliveries. Routebased sorting, create runsheets or pickup sheets, and assign work to warehouse managers (WMs). Track undelivered shipments in the ERP, contact customers for nondelivery reasons, and support delivery staff (e.g., "Wish Masters") en route. Ensure 100% stock accuracy and zero unexplained variances. Manage dayend reports, ERP transactions, and maintain inventory and process integrity. 2. Financial & Budget Oversight Stay within budgeted cost per shipment (CPS) and manage profitability of hub operations. Handle cash and petty cash (imprest), reconcile in ERP, and ensure financial accountability. 3. Team Leadership & HR Lead, train, and motivate the hub team. Conduct team meetings, coaching, grievance handling, retention control, and track attrition.
Core Responsibilities 1. Daily Logistics Operations Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely dispatch, transportation, and delivery. Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and proactively resolve delays. 2. Vendor and Partner Coordination Liaise with transporters, couriers, C&F agents, and freight service providers. Assist with freight invoice processing and reconciliation. 3. Cost Management & Optimization Support monitoring of logistics expenses and identify costsaving opportunities, operating within budget limits. Conduct supplier negotiations and cost comparisons. 4. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance Maintain accurate logistics documentation—dispatch records, Proof of Delivery (PODs), and shipping manifests. Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal standards, and industry regulations. 5. Process Improvement Contribute to identifying inefficiencies and support the implementation of new or improved procedures and tools.
