As international ambassador, I assist prospective students with their questions over the unibuddy platform and create social media content for Lund University.
Overseeing student well-being and satisfaction within the biomedicine program at Lund University. In this role, I also organized and hosted the medical faculty's annual science evening, connecting current biomedicine students with professionals from academia and industry in the greater Copenhagen area.
Research Project at the Experimental Dementia Research group of Professor Gunnar Gouras at Lund University. During this time, I followed the effects of immunotherapy on intracellular amyloid-beta aggregates in Alzheimer's disease cell lines using live cell imaging with the Operetta CLS system.
2-month internship in the Organelle Dynamics and Function Lab of Asst. Prof. Dr. Claudio Bussi within the NTU Global Connect Fellowship program. I followed changes in the lipid dynamics of microglia with lysosomal damage using super-resolution live cell imaging.
30-ECTS Bachelor's Thesis in the Regenerative Neurophysiology group of Dr. Daniella Ottosson. For my thesis, I aimed to refine a stem cell differentiation protocol for the production of parvalbumin interneurons and presented my work in a written thesis, presentation and poster.
As part of the prestigious Amgen Scholars Program, I investigated the lung microbiome in stroke within Dr. Corinne Benakis' research group at the Institute for Stroke and Dementia research (ISD). At the end of the summer, I got to present this work at the University of Cambridge during the European Amgen Scholars Symposium.
