During my time as a retail assistant at Dunnes I worked primarily as a cashier serving customers on the tills. Working this role, especially at Christmas time exercised and developed my customer service skills, as well as my ability to work efficiently and calmly in stressful, busy working conditions with long queues. Alongside till duties I worked stocking shelves at quiet store times, offering support to floor staff.

    Feb 2022 - Aug 2022 · 7 mos

Working for Gorey Catering my duties ranged from working various GAA events in Croke Park and the GAA National Games Development Centre to working in the Croke Park canteen. This role built the foundation of my customer service skills as I worked to provide the best service to various teams and GAA associates over the course of my time working as a catering assistant, especially during high stress times such as lunch rushes, and important GAA events. This taught me excellent skills in terms of working under pressure while still achieving a high standard of customer service. Furthermore I developed various skills in regards to kitchen duties such as maintaining stock, preparing and serving food, cleaning and closing up.
