CEV is a student-run engineering project team that aims to design and build an ultra energy-efficient electric vehicle each year to compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon competition. - Led a group of 5 fellow members of the Steering Subteam by tracking project progress and offering technical knowledge to encourage innovative thinking. - Designed, prototyped, and manufactured key components of the steering system, followed by full mechanical testing and integration into the complete vehicle assembly. -Collaborated with other team members during weekly meetings to review designs and provide project updates.
I joined Tesla as a Summer 2024 intern on the New Product Introduction team, working alongside other Technical Program Managers and Product Launch Engineers. Over the 12 weeks, I became immersed in our team's role as the "leaders of change" for all of Cybertruck Body-In-White (BIW) manufacturing. - Helped bring new part designs and process changes into the Cybertruck production line by leading hands-on integration trials and working directly with suppliers, quality engineers, process engineers, and production technicians. - Served as the main POC for 25 NPI trials, leading pre-trial syncs with stakeholders, planning and executing trials during live production, and communicating results across cross-functional teams to support informed decisions before and during launch. - Led a supplier localization effort that launched 11 new assemblies within an expedited time frame and saved the company over $7 million annually through precise planning, testing, and documentation.
