Oversee and supervise the safety committee, admissions and discharge department, as well as medical records department. Audit and review data as it pertains to resident and staff safety, medication errors, interdisciplinary risk, DHCS licensing criteria, and CARF accreditation requirements. Analyze data to create quality improvement plans, which then are implemented facility wide. Follow up on quality improvement plans to ensure compliance and beneficial results. Ensure all licensing requirements are met across all departments in a residential rehabilitation program. Create reports that cover all facility improvements, areas of growth, and create goals for the next quarter. Audit every resident’s chart and treatment plan to ensure regulatory compliance as well as quality for their continued care. Organize and run the Dialectal Behavior Therapy program at the facility. This includes working with the corporate team on implementation practices.
Collaborates with LPT consultants and Leadership team to plan and direct staff education services and strategic initiatives. Evaluates educational needs, facilitates programs, and maintains accurate records of staff training and compliance with regulations. Assists in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff competency while promoting effective communication across departments. Participates in quality improvement efforts and professional development activities, ensuring ongoing compliance with all training certifications and requirements.
Serve as the coordinator for clients ensuring prompt and continuous evaluation of treatment care plans through collaboration and regular meetings. Act as an advocate for clients, promoting effective communication and facilitating community integration activities and family involvement. Oversee the discharge planning process, ensuring appropriate goals are set, reviewed, and implemented while providing necessary services and maintaining accurate documentation. Work with Program Director and Clinical Director in best meeting Resident’s individual clinical needs.
