  • Project Director of the 2022 LASC Cooperation Program at Latin American Space Challenge

    The 2022 LASC Cooperation Program was a cooperative program, that united 27 rocketry teams from 5 different countries (Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru and India) in order to project, test and build a rocket capable of reaching 5 km of apogee, the record for a rocket designed by undergraduate students and launched on Latin American soil. As the Project Director, had the responsibility to make the holistic planning of the project, as well as conducting hands-on manufacturing and testing activities. Beyond that, also performed roles related to the design, test and manufacturing of the rocket's fuselage, couplers, fins, nose cone and internal structural components.

      Worked as a technical member of the Aerodynamics and Structures Subsystem of the Rígel Project, which aimed to design and build a 1 km AGL Apogee rocket with an active control system. All knowledge and skills related to the work of Structural and Aerodynamicist Engineering (from planning tasks and producing documentation to designing and simulating components and systems) were required. Specifically, was in charge of the composite fuselage, metallic couplers and 3D-printed internal components designs of the mission. The Rígel project achieved first place in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Latin America Space Challenge 1 km AGL Apogee category.

      Worked as a technical member of the Aerodynamics and Recovery Subsystems of the Kamina Project, which aimed to design and build a 1 km AGL Apogee rocket. All knowledge and skills related to the work of a Recovery and Aerodynamicist Engineer (from planning tasks and producing documentation to designing and simulating components and systems) were required. The Kamina Project achieved second place in the 2020 Latin America Space Challenge 1 km AGL Apogee category. Additionally, worked as part of the team that designed the Calango Initiative during the 2020 Latin America Space Challenge.
