About

As CEO of Music Patron, I'm connecting music lovers directly with living composers through collective monthly patronage. In just a few months I've led the organisation through a significant transition: from incubation within Uk charity Sound and Music to fully independent status, operating as a lean start-up with a proven model and bold ambition to scale. The role draws on a diverse career trajectory, starting with night shifts at New York's legendary Blue Note Jazz Club, immersed in extraordinary musicianship and remarkable stories. I went on to manage Trevor Horn's international recording projects, deepening my affinity with the challenges and value of creative excellence. I was inspired to set up my own music production company in Soho, commissioning original soundtracks for global ad campaigns including Nike, Sony and Coca-Cola, pushing hard to make sure composers were paid fairly, while advocating more broadly for creators' rights as Chair of a UK-wide members' organisation. From there I took on Amnesty International's global artist engagement programme, leading high profile partnerships to strengthen human rights around the world and in one instance, mobilising 870 musicians across 44 countries to perform in solidarity with refugees on a single day. Different chapters, same thread: I create conditions where creativity can flourish, building passionate communities through authentic storytelling and valued connections.
