With my graduation in November 2023, I am thrilled to embark on my journey in the captivating realm of molecular biology and genetic analysis. Over the past four enriching years at The National University of Malaysia (UKM), I have not only honed my academic prowess but also cultivated valuable writing and communication skills through active participation in various activities. These experiences have shaped me into a detail-oriented individual with the ability to adapt swiftly to changing environments. My internship as a Medical Laboratory Technologist at a molecular diagnostics company marked a pivotal point in my journey. This experience has ignited my passion for the field and reinforced my practical skills and knowledge, which I am eager to leverage and further refine these skills in my future endeavors. As a motivated individual and a dedicated team player, I am open to connecting with like-minded individuals and engaging in meaningful conversations. If you believe there are exciting opportunities, including but not limited to molecular work, feel free to get in touch with me at [email protected].
During my internship at Bionexus Gene Lab Corporation, I had the invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various critical molecular biology techniques aimed at assessing colorectal cancer risk. Responsibilities: - Perform total RNA extraction from blood samples. - Utilize Nanodrop spectrophotometry to accurately quantify RNA concentration and assess its purity. - Conduct RNA Quality Control (QC) run using Bioanalyzer. - Perform Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) for cDNA synthesis. - Execute Quantitative Real-Time PCR (qRT-PCR) and subsequent data analysis.
