My responsibilities include technical support for the corporation, debugging problems with the network, maintaining the corporate website, training new employees to use software, managing LANDesk for deployments, administer zendesk, incorporating Twilio into the support team workflow, setting up cisco IP phones using Cisco UCM and learning as much as possible.
I am responsible for handling inbound tickets and providing production support for multiple healthcare related websites with millions of visitors. I log issues in JIRA, follow up on resolutions, and ultimately test the fixes before closing the tickets. Currently I have tested or created over 400 JIRA tickets including production defects, change requests, and publishing detailed test cases. Additionally I am working with ruby, watir, and selenium web-drivers to automate testing operations for increased accuracy and turn around time for data refreshes. I am utilizing automation to verify thousands of changes on the healthcare websites in order to achieve as close to 100% accuracy as possible for the number of changes being validated. Responsibilities: * Functional testing of database updates on website front-end * Logging helpdesk tickets in JIRA * Debugging, maintaining, and creating new Ruby scripts for automation * Writing standard operations procedure documents for software installation * Production support for multiple healthcare related websites * Writing test cases within JIRA for tracking and testing purposes * Test bug fixes across an agile environment, 4 environments total - Including validating on production once it is live * Provide training on several tools to new members * Determine severity of support requests and escalate if necessary * Participate in testing during outages, both scheduled and unscheduled to ensure complete functionality across many aspects of healthcare related websites.
