As a dynamic scientific professional, I have been involved in several different science-related processes, including: fundamental biomedical research, translational R&D and innovation, medical affairs, science communication & outreach, public & patient engagement, marketing & public relations, stakeholders engagement, project management, proposals writing, education advisement & mentoring, business development and sales. I have worked in the biotech industry, where I identified new business opportunities to generate revenue, improved profitability and helped the business growth. My work involved strategic planning and positioning in new markets. I am deeply committed to Responsible Research and Innovation. I thrive to better align both the process and outcomes of research and innovation, with the values, needs and expectations of the society. I have helped teams developing effective communication strategies to explain complex scientific information in accessible terms and language aiming to target heterogenous publics, such as the society, investors, external stakeholders and KOLs. Currently working in Pharmaceutical industry, My goal is to identify and remove roadblocks in the patient journey and, together with stakeholders, develop novel solutions to improve that journey. With a scientific background in Neuroscience, Oncology, Rare Diseases, Sleep & Respiratory Disorders, and Molecular Biology, I have developed strong scientific knowledge. My work experience in Science Communication and Business Development allowed me to build powerful communication skills, analytical thinking, goal-oriented attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
