Hello! My name is Theresa. My curious path: archaeologist to pharmacist; pharmacist to fullstack software engineer; software engineer to suborbital research scientist and astronaut candidate. Ultimately however, I'm a scientist trying to make our earthly world (and the next) a better place. Intrinsic motivation is my compass, and I work best in mission-driven spaces. Every career transition I have made has been intentional--my curiosity drives me, and there is authentic, deep-rooted love in every thing I do. My conviction is just as strong--I will stand up for what is right, even if it means I will meet friction because of it. You’ll usually find me deep in one of my many worlds: pharmacokinetics in microgravity (space medicine), pharmacogenomics, climate changes' impact on health, Mediterranean archaeology, or, of course, coding 🙂. I'm an advocate for women, mental health, diversity, marginalized communities, mindfulness, and refugees. I love connecting with others with these values as well, in addition to pharmacists/clinicians who've carved out their own non-traditional paths.
