I am innovative, passionate and committed Senior Phase Teacher, I have a passion for education and teaching, I am focused on helping learners grow and to inspire them. I believe in life long learning, and I am constantly trying top find new things to engage in and learn from to grow my skills in education. My focus lately has been doing courses into how to move into a more 21st century learner based learning pedagogies and how to better including more ICT and technology to enhance my teaching and learners ability to gain knowledge and better understanding of the work. I create a learning environment that effectively engages participation by students from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. With 4+ years of combined teaching experience, I am eager to further pursue my educational career and to dedicate myself to the highest standards of teaching. Management & Leadership: • 2024: head of subject natural science. Teaching grade 8-12 life science and grade 9,12 Geography. In charge of running all assessment and coordination of grade 8 Natural Science • 2023: Teaching grade 8-12. Responsible for coordinating and managing all assessments for grade 8 ,9 Natural science and grade 9 Geography. • 2022: Teaching grade 11, 12. Responsible for coordinating and managing all assessments for grade 8 Natural science and grade 9 Geography. • 2021: Responsible for coordinating and managing all assessments for Grade 8 – Natural Science and Grade 8 Geography. • 2021: Grade 8 registration Teacher, manage and co-ordinate all admin related duties and daily correspondence. • 2020: Co-ordinated and planned curriculum for the year and all assessments for Grade 9 – Geography. • 2020: Grade 10 registration Teacher. Focus on implementing e-learning and online materials. • Develop culturally appropriate programs and activities.
