I am a Second Year Medical Student at University College London (UCL), and currently hold the position of President of UCL Gospel Society. I am also currently part of two mentorship schemes, aiming to make the transition of first year medical students as seamless as possible. In addition to my studies, I am open to any medical, biomedical, research and healthcare-related opportunities to further develop my knowledge of and experience within the field. I have also started my own GCSE and A-Level Tutoring Service called AEN Tutoring.
As President of UCL Gospel Society (VOCE), I oversee all of the activities, finances and adminstrative work associated with this society, as well as create and execute the vision I have for VOCE, alongside my committee members. I liase with other societies at both UCL and other universities to collaborate in order to create events and various opportunities for the student body. In addition to this, I seek opportunities to expand the awareness of VOCE and the society as a whole.
AEN Tutoring offers Affordable GCSE and A-Level Tuition, as well as support with University Applications/ Personal Statements.
I held various mentoring sessions for First Year Medical Students at UCL, to support them in their transition into Medical School, and address any concerns, issues or questions they may have about starting this course or university as a whole.
The Legal Foundation Course at Linklaters gave me a formal insight into Law, particularly commercial Law. I learnt more about the different routes into Law, and by engaging in Q&A sessions with partners and trainees at Linklaters, I was able to learn more about the profession as a whole, as well as their individual journeys to their current positions. Shadowing associates was an amazing experience, and allowed me to witness first-hand the realities of working at an international law firm. Talks about employability and recruitment processes allowed me to understand what recruitment officers are truly looking for in candidates, as well as what to look for in work cultures and environments when looking at different companies.
