I am an independent counsel primarily practicing civil commercial laws (including Contractual disputes, Arbitrations and Intellectual Property Laws). I also founded the Law Firm, Ashutosh Nagar & Associates | Advocates, in the year 2021 with a view to providing high-quality and dedicated legal services. At ANA Law, we take pride in providing legal solutions to our clients which facilitates their business growth. Our approach is to work alongside our clients to proactively identify prospective legal issues/disputes and attempt to timely address them to the best of our abilities. I am currently representing companies from diverse sectors, which include, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment, Energy, Automation, Logistics, FMCGs (manufacturers, processors, and exporters), Finance, Fertilizers and Agricultural Chemicals, Hospitality, Jewellery, Architecture and Construction, to name a few. I have successfully represented my clients before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, the Bombay High Court, and the Madras High Court. I have served as an Advocate in numerous high-value international arbitrations under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) Convention Arbitration Rules, International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Arbitration Rules, London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Arbitration Rules, and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Rules. I have also served and advised clients in securing Third-Party Funding from international funders for strategic and effective proceedings of international arbitrations. I have represented and advised clients on numerous intellectual property law cases. Prominently, I have served as a Counsel in telecom SEP litigations between Indian mobile handset manufacturers and SEP holders, litigations between the State of Madhya Pradesh and the Union of India concerning the State’s inclusion in the Geographical Indication (GI) of Basmati Rice and opposition to the GI area demarcated by a statutory body of the Union, and numerous trademark, copyright, and design infringement cases.
