I build relationships quickly by being authentic and friendly. If that is not enough then I let my strong work ethic and sense of urgency win them over. I want to continue to grow in a remote work environment where I am able to successfully have work/life balance.
As an Internal Mobility Advisor, I serve as a trusted career partner to employees navigating growth, transition, and opportunity within Cox. My role focuses on helping internal talent identify and translate transferable skills, build career clarity, and position themselves competitively for internal opportunities—while partnering closely with recruiters, HR business partners, and business leaders to support enterprise talent movement. I work one on one with employees at all career stages. From individual contributors to senior leaders to provide personalized career coaching, resume and interview guidance, and strategic insight into internal roles, pathways, and readiness. I also support transformation and change initiatives by ensuring impacted employees receive thoughtful, structured, and equitable career support.
I continue to manage the background process and assist 4 different teams candidates. Everyday is different and I thrive in the fast pace environment. In addition to my expected duties I also help with creating trainings along with being the Workday Subject Matter Expert on our team. I have structured my work day to be able to take on stretch assignments with the sourcing team as well. I am actively learning more about the talent acquisition space daily. In addition, I co-lead our social committees to help flourish our team repour since we are mostly remote workers.
I am the welcoming presence to candidates beginning their background. I work closely with our Sterling partners to move our new employees through the process quickly by being proactive and finding any way I can to expedite the reports. I communicate with our recruiters, hiring managers, and compliance team members clearly to deliver a smooth transition within our Workday system.
With the support of my wonderful husband I took time away to raise our 2 rambunctious boys. I was heavily involved in their education and development. Once they became old enough I took the lead volunteering in all the committees, sports, and school activities they were involved in as a contact for the other parents. I also worked as a doula, otherwise known as a birthing coach, for a short period. I wouldn't trade this time for anything in the world and believe it has made me into the person I am today. Once both began school full time I decided to return to the workforce.
